God Cares About You! ~ Chad Fatula ~ 1/13/13 PM

God Cares About You!
1/13/13

 I. God cares about our emotional needs. Phil 4:6-7, Acts 16:25, Hebrews 13:15

II. God cares about our physical needs.  Hebrews 1:9, Matt 6:17, Mark 6:1

III. God cares about our spiritual needs. Matt 10:28

IV. God cares about what matters to us.  I Peter 5: 6-7

“Knowing that intercessory prayer is our mightiest weapon and the supreme call for all Christians today, I pleadingly urge our people everywhere to pray. Believing that prayer is the greatest contribution that our people can make in this critical hour, I humbly urge that we take time to pray--to really pray. Let there be prayer at sunup, at noonday, at sundown, at midnight--all through the day. Let us all pray for our children, our youth, our aged, our pastors, our homes. Let us pray for our churches. Let us pray for ourselves, that we may not lose the word ’concern’ out of our Christian vocabulary. Let us pray for our nation. Let us pray for those who have never known Jesus Christ and redeeming love, for moral forces everywhere, for our national leaders. Let prayer be our passion. Let prayer be our practice.”~~Robert E. Lee

Give Me a Servant's Heart: Humility ~ Chad Fatula ~ 1/13/13 AM

Give Me A Servant’s Heart: Humility
Phi 2:3,4

 I. Humility in the Bible.

II. Humility is found in knowing where we came from.

III. Humility is gained as we grow down.

      A. Selfish Ambition

      B. Personal Prestige

      C. Concentration of Self

IV. Humility is seen in our actions.

Humility
If you can start a day without caffeine, always be cheerful, ignore aches and pains, resist complaining about your troubles, eat the same food everyday and be grateful for it, understand when loved ones are too busy for you, take criticism and blame without resentment, treat rich and poor friends exactly the same, face the world without lies and deceit, overlook when a loved one takes things out on you when it wasn’t your fault something went wrong, conquer tension without medicine, and deep in your heart you can honestly say you have no prejudice against creed, color, race, religion, or politics then you, my friend, are about as good as your dog.

What Will You Do?

When you think you can't handle even one more step/minute/day, remember:

What will you do in the new year knowing that you can do all things through Christ?
